In the 5-star Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich, the luxury suite designed by Philipp Architekten combines golden cubes, handcrafted panelling and elegant bronze elements to create an artistic room concept in which natural materials such as wood, stone and bronze blend harmoniously with modern accents and design elements.

Cast surfaces with their unique appearance take centre stage here. Customised models that were developed together with the customer Eichkorn Design and Anna Philipp. The fascinating, archaic surface structure was created using end grain wood as a mould.
